We're coming for you, GTU. Be afraid. Be VERY afraid by 81Dog

Posted on the DawgVent, Nov 2003

To all my friends and fans at GTU, greetings.

Guess what, nerds? That butt whuppin' you've been dreading since LAST November? It's finally time for you "gys" to come and get it. I'm glad it's after Thanksgiving, because it's only sporting that the condemned get a last meal. Eat, drink and be merry, for on next Saturday, your little mustard rear ends are going to get handed to you.

Look at the schedules we've both played. Notice our performance against Clempson. Now notice yours. Notice your performance against Duke. Now notice ours against Tennessee. Starting to see a pattern here? You've actually had a good season over there, in light of what was expected. My congratulations. Your team has played with valor and heart, for the most part. This week, that isnt going to be enough. You're playing a team with valor, heart and TALENT. Someone call ol' Billy Bob Gailey and tell him to bring a rake to the Joke By Coke this week. He'll need it to collect what's left of Reggie Ball after Thomas Davis, Greg Blue, Odell Thurman, et al, get done with him.

This week, young Reggie "I guarantee you we wont lose another game this year" Ball learns the meaning of hubris as the Greek tragedy that is GTU football reaches its denoument. While you nerds bob up and down in the background to the Budweiser song, like a chorus of monkeys, your football team is going to be taking a smackdown of epic proportions. Think 51-7 was bad? Wait and see what happens this week. We're going to send you pencil necks off on the Road To Boise with as many bumps and bruises as possible.

I note the post on the Hive PBM linked below. "WE MUST DEFEND THIS HOUSE" my behind. First of all, you'd have to be a total tool to co-opt a slogan from THAT commercial. Errr..well...that explains how you picked it. Second of all, it isnt going to be your house. Expect to see lots of red there. Expect to see ME in much better seats than a lot of you nerds will have. I'll be waving to you as you stream for the exits at the half. Be sure to smile brightly on your way to the parking lot.
