GeorgiaDogs.com: ATLANTA – Comcast / Charter Sports Southeast (CSS) announced today it will produce the University of Georgia’s first game of the 2008 season against
Georgia Southern as a pay-per-view broadcast. Viewers in Georgia can order the August 30 game through their local, participating cable provider for $24.99 prior to the day of the event and $29.99 the day of the game.
Kickoff is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. ET on August 30.
Participating cable providers in the state will be listed on the CSS website, csssports.com, at a later date.
CSS is a 24-hour regional sports network serving approximately 5.8 million cable subscribers across twelve southeastern states. Launched in 1999, the network is a partnership between Comcast Corporation and Charter Communications. CSS carries a full slate of college sports programming including over 45 live football games, 110 college football replay games, more than 160 men's and women's live college basketball games and 50 live baseball games, as well as a comprehensive mix of sports news and in-depth sports analysis geared toward fans in the Southeast. CSS is only available on cable.
